Updating catalyst control center
If you are not tech-savvy, the easiest way to update ATI CCC is by uninstalling the older version of the program and performing a clean install of latest ATI CCC package.I am trying to update the CC from version 11.8 to the latest: 11.12.Sorry for my bad english, I hope you'll answer me soon I recently cleaned my radiator (H100) and after i started up my PC everything was at a lower resolution. The display doesn't fit the screen i know how to change it but the AMD Control Center doesn't open.I tried opening Catalyst Control Center but I got a error saying "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Hi The problem I have is the AMD Catalyst Control Center won't open. My computer has: Asus AMD Radeon HD 7950 Direct CU ... I am not quite sure if i need to update it or something but after updating windows and i try to open CCC it pops up a notification "Catalyst Control Center cannot be started. I've heard that ATI drivers do not require an uninstall when updating. There's no risk of getting no picture at all, windows will go back to "standard VGA blabla" and if it doesn't (i.e. ty Programs and features (or whatever its name is in english windows), find catalyst control center and choose the "quick uninstallation of all AMD catalyst software" which will include drivers.
It is necessary for any computer user wishing to squeeze the most performance out of their ATI Radeon video device.
Tried different versions of CCC or drivers, used CCleaner and nothing works.
All games work, everything is fine but i can't open CCC to switch graphic cards. I tried 13.1, 13.4, 13.9 and 14.4 versions of drivers but it's all the same.
